The Cultural Basement of European Unity
As we know, the Founding Fathers of the European Union also provided definitions for our current topic, and quoting Robert Schuman again, we may also state that Europe first of all is a cultural entity. The economic union and the common – then single – market originated from this cultural entity, and later it gained political structure and political unity.
